Originally part of an old wooden chair, this dowel has been liberated from its domestic duties and forged into a tool of intent. There is a unique strength in wood that has already stood the test of time. At a sturdy 1 inch in diameter, it has a commanding, hand-filling feel. We’ve hand-stripped and hand-sanded the original finish away, replacing it with a distressed midnight stain that honors the wood's history while looking toward its future.
Finished with a rugged, tan suede wrap for a grip that feels as steady as the chair it once was.
